Amanda.  This is all you.  This is a WHOLE new world.  Law school.  Big, dreams, books, impact, differences.  Law.

And it feels like you're taking this step.  Toe pointed forward.  About to step out the door - into that classroom tomorrow.  

Looking back, you've been full stride for as long as I can remember.  Pouring your HEART into Mock Trial.  Investing in your teammates.  Experiencing success.  Building relationships.  Making the stories in the trials your own.  Being totally consumed by the cases.  Looking sharp in that suit :)   .... Living on Taco bell deliveries... :D.   

And we know there are so many directions you can go.   Amanda, you have SO much potential.  And you have CHASED these dreams.  Worked hard.  Bettered yourself.  Demonstrated self control to pursue - this ultimate goal.  You've shown the world you can be flexible - by switching from Tulane to UTK.  Setbacks?  What setbacks?  

The road will be undoubtedly be bumpy, and hard, and tiring.  But look how far you've come and how hard you've worked to get here.  And in the middle of those late night paper writing sessions or exam cramming, it may be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  But you're goina be better for this experience.   These 3 years are going to change your life, so treasure all the ups and downs, experiences and friends you make.  I know for sure this world is a better place because of the impact you make.  

Amanda, you are entering a world none of this family has been in before.  And while we may not understand all the cool lingo and cases and rules and law you learn,  we are here for you.  This family's got your back.  

We're here for you.  

We're with you.  

We are for you.  

Amanda, I love you like crazy, quirks and all.  I know now what Mom and Dad mean when they say they are so very proud of you.  You are a role model and dream chaser.  You stand up for what you believe to be right and have such a passionate heart for those around you and things you care about.  

I am lucky to get to walk this life with you.  And I am so excited to see what the future holds for you.
