Small big things

Dear God,

Thank you for the small, big wonders of life. These blessings that make us in awe of creation and the way this world is. For the perfect moments. Of peaceful, calming, quiet bliss.

After seeing Jobs with a teammate from work, I drove Ella down Memorial. It was such a smooth, peaceful ride, the night air was perfect- where you're not hot or cold and the air smells like earth and life. It was the first time I felt like I really knew Ella, like we fit together. It was such a nice feeling. And as we rode down Memorial, past the park, there was hardly anyone on the road, and it was open and we just kept going. Thank you free 3 month subscription to XM satellite radio.   And then we're in downtown and I was in awe of the city. The skyline was so pretty, and light, and tall, and impressive.  Houston.   We drove past the Ballet hall. Mmmm... Ballet. Life and movement and knowing yourself and creativity and art. Past the fancy, pretty hotels with the dressed up people out front and the pretty, manicured flowers and bushes. The flat concrete streets and the square grid layout. Past Main Street with the light rail line. The lights and the tall buildings.

God, thank you for the small, big things. For the creation and for opening our eyes to the beautiful, beautiful world around us.

Thank you for these treats and blessings in life - the life you invite us into to live and experience the joys You create.

Thank you God, for captivating this heart with your grace and amazing creations.

This song is almost too prefect :)
